How we got started
Grace Achieves Inc. began operating in South East DC in January 2013. The founder, Holynne Steppe, moved to the Capital Region from St Louis, MO and was actively looking for ways to become involved in the community. After falling in love with the children in SE DC, she began showing up weekly to help with homework, provide snacks, listen to stories and simply be there. And you could say the rest is history...
